FRSW Hosts First HHW Remote of 2020 in Nackawic June 6

Nackawic and its surrounding areas will be the host for the first Fredericton Region Solid Waste off-site household hazardous waste public drop off.
The always popular event in Nackawic will unfold Saturday, June 6, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
It will be held at 152 Otis Dr.
There is no charge for dropping off your household waste.
It’s your opportunity to properly dispose of all poisonous, corrosive, flammable, old and leftover products – products that cannot be safely poured down the drain, put in the garbage, buried or burned.
This service is for residential drop-off only. Commercial waste will not be accepted. No waste oil containers larger than 20 litres will be accepted.
Please note, you will be asked to remain in your vehicle at all time. FRSW’s trained staff will collect all items from your vehicles. Items such as Jerry cans will not be returned.
Contact the Recycle Hotline at 453-9938 or email info@frswc.ca for further information.
FRSW plans to have two more region-wide collection days in the summer and fall. Dates and locations will be announced later.
