Gagetown Set to Host Next FRSW HHW Event (Oct. 3)

It will be your opportunity to properly dispose of any household hazardous waste products you have in your home or garage.
Fredericton Region Solid Waste will bring its household hazardous waste mobile unit to the Village of Gagetown on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The FRSW team will be at the Gagetown Recreational Centre at 38 Mill Rd., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The HHW service is for residents only. No commercial or industrial products will be accepted. Tires are also not accepted.
Any items with symbols indicating the product is corrosive, toxic, reactive or flammable or the words – Danger, Poison, Caution and Warning – are accepted at the event.
Common HHW products include gasoline, oil, disinfectants, swimming pool chemicals, batteries, paint, paint thinners and windshield fluids.
All products must be in containers 20 litres or less.
Containers such as Jerry cans or pails will not be returned.
There is no charge to the service. Residents are asked to place their HHW items in their trunk or bed of truck when arriving to allow FRSW employees to safely remove the items from vehicles.
